Kani Basami
In this technique suggest you put your back leg in the crease of the Knee, I have seen this method work but I have seen escapes and injuries using this method. Putting your leg in the crease of the knee allows your opponent to bend his knee forward therefore driving his weight forward stopping the throw or at worst putting his knee out this is why it was banned from some Judoorganisations because of the high injury rate. I feel the more effective way is to bring your leg down from the knee to the calf when you throw the whole leg is kept straight the knee does not bend. Just an opinion Martin Clarke Sambo Grandmaster
